Artistic inspiration surrounds us, yet we don’t always notice it’s beauty.
Starting with music and continuing with creative writing, my exploration into the world of creativity veered suddenly into jewelry making. I happened upon a new hobby that very quickly enthralled me. The two key elements of my jewelry designs, vivid pendants and accenting bead colors, help me create a range of finished pieces. Those designs inspired short stories, so I’ve blended the two creative interests together on this blog. When I started making my own necklaces, I did so with the intent to fill the void in my wardrobe accessory list.
I make necklaces with the belief that we’re drawn to different colors at different moments in our lives. I had silver and gold chains with lovely charms, but I wanted something to pop when I wore a classic black ensemble. When I wore neutral colors I wanted soft greens or beiges to complete the look. Adding a splash of color into your wardrobe may just provide some extra inspiration and creativity to your day.
